The Community Chorus welcomes all who have a love of music and enjoy practicing and performing.
The Community Chorus is an all volunteer group under the direction of Mrs. Dianne Dobson providing the community with an opportunity to experience the joys of choral presentations. The Community Chorus presents two annual productions and is open to all ( 15 and older) who want to sing.
The chorus is under the leadership of Dianne Dobson. Dianne is a graduate of Shorter College and Jacksonville State. She taught choral music in the public schools for 30 years. Dianne has also taught honors chorus, and had numerous choruses participate in All State, performed at Carnegie Hall, and is a co-conductor of the Georgia European Youth Chorus. Ms. Dobson's objective for the Community Chorus is for the chorus to have a wonderful choral experience and learn vocal techniques to present a successful concert.
